Summer Fun Part 1

Well, I'm finally back after a long season of no updates! I have to post my pics in 3 parts cause the computer won't take a lot at a time... I had lots of fun over the summer - we traveled to Sarnia, Ontario for dad's meetings. Here's some of what we did on that trip:

First on the way to Sarnia we stopped at Niagra Falls! 

Next we headed for Sarnia, where we met lots of new friends:

Real Pet People

Well, we have ANOTHER member in our pet family! We have now opened our home to a kitten whom we have named Pearl after our dear grammie who passed away recently. Pearl is a sweet little bundle of energy who goes from cuddling to lashing out in kitten vicousness at anything (seen or unseen) that captures her attention! Her favourite pastimes are sleeping, playing in the garden, or attacking feet, fingers, tails (including her own), bugs, a pillow, ect....

The last couple of months....

well, I realized today that I haven't posted anything for about two months so I've decided to buckle down and get typing!! haha don't know how long that'll last! Anyhow, here's a recap of the last couple of months.....

Umm we had a snowman....

......and it fell down.

our cousins dog brought half of a rabbit to our front door. 

we went to Bridgewater conference ad met some new people.....

we decided to have some dress up fun with our cousin and aunt. lol :D

And we got a new dog: Charlie. we all love him to bits and he loves us back, a great addition to the family!

Anyway, Charlie has been the newest excitement around here... Here are a few more pics of him:

or visiting! This is him and our other dog, Daisy, he is a 100lb Labradoodle and Daisy, our yellow lab is pretty small beside him, even though she's full grown. :D

Well, I guess the only other thing happening around here is that the sun has been out for a week or so, so our daffadiles came out!

Our Newest Excitement

Sooo, there hasn't been much going on in the Hebron area lately, except for the ocasional ride on the skidoo, a snowstorm and Laura's birthday. Because of the snowstorm, we also have a new source of fun. A snow hill! Dad blew out the lane and made a pretty awesome hill for us with the snow from the lane, so we've been practicing our snowbording, and having some fun sledding, on it lately.

It was there just in time for Laura's birthday, so Nadia, Moriah, Jayne, Laura and I could all entertain ourselves while waiting our turns for the skidoo.  Laura's birthday turned out pretty fun... we ended up having 3 partys for her. one at grammies with just the fam., one at our house with all her friends, and one, again at our house on her offical birthday because our cousin Grace was there and thought she was there to celibrate Lauras birthday. :D

SNOW!!!!

YAYYYYYYYY!!! I'm so excited! It finally snowed enough to cover the ground and let us out of school! The snow has now turned into freezing rain and is coming down hard! VERY EXCITING! Here's some pic's: (by the way, this isn't the first snowfall, the first one lasted for a day then melted... I'll put pics of it too)

It's nearing the end of November and in fact there are only 33 days till Christmas and theres NO SNOW!!! :(   It's soon sad! I keep thinking of those many romps through the snow with my brothers and sisters, that always turn into a good old snowball fight. And the fun we have racing through the snow covered field on the skidoos.
 My dad, brother, sister and I all go on a snowshoeing trip together while my youngest sister and my mother stay home and make a beautiful gingerbread house. ahhh memories.... Singing carols, having hot chocolate or hot apple cider, making snowmen and waking up to a school cancelation due to the snow and ice conditions!!! :D.
Then theres always Christmas when everyones feeling festive and all the family comes home to have Christmas dinner! Its soo fun! Choosing the perfect gifts for each other and remember the birth of our wonderful Savior.... wow. I LOVE WINTER!
